The Best Time for ...
Painting
Unless you like to watch paint dry, you want to choose a day that will allow your painting project to dry evenly and quickly. Paint cures best if the moon is waning, in the 3rd and 4th quarters. These days are highlighted in yellow below. The moon in Libra adds beauty to the paint job. Libra moons that occur during the waning phases are highlighted in green.
We have excluded periods when the moon is in
a water sign, as paint will not dry easily in these signs. This is one
of those areas where the use of common sense is highly recommended.
If it is rainy or the humidity level is 98%, paint will not dry easily
regardless of sign. If you do
not use Daylight Savings Time in your area, please subtract one hour from
the times listed after March 11, 2007.
